I Love Story

Writing is both a creative and a spiritual practice for me, a way to better understand my place and purpose in the world. The more I observe, the more I know that we are each part of a bigger whole; held in a web of belonging that is vividly apparent to me as I wander along forest paths conversing with crows and communing with trees. Children seem to know this from the start.

Nearly four decades as an early childhood Montessori educator has allowed me to see the world of nature through the eyes of children, so it’s not surprising that these two passions come together as I create a series of children’s books rooted in the wisdom of nature.
